Error: The code you have entered is not a Nintendo eShop prepaid code

The code you received in exchange for your Microids Replay code is not a prepaid code and cannot be used as a payment method.

It is a download / activation code that must be redeemed directly through the Nintendo eShop on your Nintendo Switch console.

To redeem your code:

Turn on your Nintendo Switch.
Open the Nintendo eShop from the HOME Menu.
Select the Nintendo Account you want to use with the code.
From the left-hand menu, select “Enter Code”.
Enter the code you received.
Confirm to redeem your content.

The code you received must not be entered in a section dedicated to prepaid codes or prepaid cards.

You must use the following option:

Nintendo eShop → Menu → “Enter Code”

If you try to use the code as a prepaid code, it may be displayed as invalid or may not be recognized.
