1. Game Won't Launch or Is Not Working Properly on Console


If your game won't launch or is experiencing issues on PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch, please follow the troubleshooting steps below.


Step 1 – Restart Your Console


Turn your console off completely, then turn it back on.

This can resolve many temporary issues.


Step 2 – Check for Updates


Make sure that:

Your game is up to date.
Your console system software is up to date.

Outdated versions may prevent the game from launching or cause unexpected issues.


Step 3 – Verify the Game Installation


Make sure the game is installed correctly.

If the issue persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling the game.


Step 4 – Check Available Storage Space


Insufficient storage space may prevent the game from running correctly.

Free up storage space if necessary.


Step 5 – Test with Another User Profile


If possible, launch the game using a different user profile to determine whether the issue is related to your account or save data.


Step 6 – Check the Physical Media


If you are using a disc or cartridge version, and if possible, test it on another compatible console to verify that the physical media is not damaged.


Step 7 – Contact Support

2. Report a Bug on Console


If you believe you have encountered a bug while playing one of our console games, please complete the checks below before contacting Support.

First, make sure you have followed all the steps in the "Game Won't Launch or Is Not Working Properly on Console" troubleshooting guide above.


Step 1 – Confirm That It Is a Bug


Before reporting the issue:

Check an online guide or walkthrough.
Make sure the issue is not related to intended gameplay mechanics.
Try to reproduce the issue consistently.


Step 2 – Restart the Game and Reload Your Save


Restart the game.
Reload an earlier save if available.

Some games are divided into chapters. If this is the case, try replaying the current chapter from the beginning instead of loading your latest save.


Step 3 – Contact Support


If the issue persists, please provide:

Game title
Console model
Game version (see below)
A detailed description of the bug
Steps to reproduce the issue
A screenshot or video (if available)

How to Check for Game Updates


PlayStation 4 / PlayStation 5


Highlight the game on the Home screen.
Press the Options button.
Select Check for Update.


Xbox One / Xbox Series X|S


Open My games & apps.
Select the game.
Press the Menu (≡) button.
Select Manage game and add-ons, then Updates.


Nintendo Switch


Highlight the game on the HOME Menu.
Press the + or − button.
Select Software Update.


Nintendo Switch 2


Open the game's options menu.
Select Software Update.

Menu names may vary slightly depending on the system software version.


How to Find Your Game Version


PlayStation 4 / PlayStation 5


Highlight the game.
Press the Options button.
Select Information.

The game version will be displayed in the information panel.


Xbox One / Xbox Series X|S


Select the game from your library.
Open Manage game and add-ons.

The installed version is displayed in the game details or installed updates section.


Nintendo Switch


Highlight the game.
Press the + or − button.

The game version is displayed in the software information.


Nintendo Switch 2


Follow the same procedure as on Nintendo Switch:

Game Options → Information / Software Details

Menu names may vary depending on the system software version.
